OLWEN Rug – Noir

Taking its name from the Celtic goddess of flowers and springtime OLWEN is a painterly damask detailed with birds fruits and flowers. The design was painstakingly pieced together from four separate drawings all found in the archives of the renowned silk weaving mill Gainsborough. Now translated into a decadent rug its woven from sumptuously soft British wool by Axminster Carpets creators of the worlds finest floor coverings since 1755.
