Conjuring a sense of traditional Eastern design, the warm red and gold colour palette is typical of the dyes used by artisans who have created these hand-woven carpets for generations. Our luxury British velvets are made from the finest quality cotton and crafted on a loom by weaving two pieces of fabric face to face then cutting them apart. This creates a lavishly soft-to-the-touch finish that’s resilient to everyday wear and tear.Each item sold enables House of Hackney to purchase and protect 35 square metres of forest, thanks to our partnership with the World Land Trust the international conservation charity that safeguards our most vital natural ecosystems and threatened habitats, acre by acre.
