The epitome of a late bloomer, 18th century English artist Mary Delany began creating her masterpiece a series of 985 botanically accurate collages at the grand age of 72. Now, we have honoured Delanys pioneering craft by composing our own collage from her intricate paper mosaics. Designed in partnership with the British Museum, FLORA DELANICA arranges poppies, lilies and Passiflora Laurifolia across luxurious British-made velvet in Clay.
Each metre sold enables House of Hackney to purchase and protect 35 square metres of forest, thanks to our partnership with the World Land Trust the international conservation charity that safeguards our most vital natural ecosystems and threatened habitats, acre by acre.
