For the new season, House of Hackney visited the iconic ZUBER archives in Rixheim, France and set about reimagining a selection of their traditional wallpapers for a current audience. The Amarantha design inspired by a print dating back to around 1850 showcases a French rococo-style block-printed background with an overlaid floral motif. An unexpected colour palette comprising inky blues, gold and turquoise gives this opulent design contemporary appeal. Our wallpaper is produced using PVC-free, eco-friendly materials and promises minimal environmental impact at every stage of production.
Each roll sold enables House of Hackney to purchase and protect 35 square metres of forest, thanks to our partnership with the World Land Trust the international conservation charity that safeguards our most vital natural ecosystems and threatened habitats, acre by acre.
